1. Introduction

PrepCue AI (the "Service") is operated by COD Inc. ("we", "our", or "us").

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the PrepCue AI website and Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

PrepCue AI is an AI interview-support service for IT engineers taking Japanese-language and English technical interviews. Its main features are:

  • Account creation and authentication
  • An interview assistant with live captions and ready-to-read reference answers
  • Resume-based AI mock interviews with feedback and model answers
  • Real-time voice transcription
  • Furigana and read-aloud (TTS) for questions
  • Subscriptions and credit purchases

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. Please keep your registration information accurate and up to date.

If you are a minor, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or other legal guardian.

You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Prohibited Conduct

  • Violating any law or infringing the rights of others
  • Unauthorized access, transmitting malware, or disrupting the Service
  • Harassment, defamation, or use for any illegal or improper purpose
  • Circumventing or abusing the Service's security, billing, or credit processing

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content, features, design, trademarks, and other intellectual property belong to us or their rightful owners.

You retain the rights you hold in content you submit to the Service, but we may use that content to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

6. Payment

  • The fees, taxes, and conditions shown at the time of purchase apply.
  • Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers, whose terms also apply.
  • Payments are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our Refund Policy.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or loss of data.

8. Indemnification

If a dispute or claim with a third party arises from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service, you will resolve it at your own responsibility and expense and compensate us for any resulting losses (including reasonable attorneys' fees).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service without prior notice if you violate these Terms or if we determine it is necessary for operating the Service.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it for how we handle personal information.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may change these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you on the Service or by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Courts in Japan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms.
